Beautiful British Columbia

The last stretch of the road trip was from Portland, OR into Vancouver, BC! It was only a 6 1/2 hour drive, to us after all week of traveling seemed like cake.  I had not realized Portland was right next to Washington.  I mean literally on the bridge a sign said, "now entering Washington".  Leaving Portland I was finally allowed to drive.  Yes, since Phoenix I had been co-pilot! The one taking the photos, getting the food, changing the music, you know all the needy stuff that drivers can not do. I had put my foot down and told Nick,  I was driving and he can be co-pilot.  This lasted however appox. 3 hours and then I was kicked out of the drivers seat.  Sad! So here goes.....

I am not sure how I feel about Seattle.  Its always raining, why do people live there??

getting greener and greener!!

approaching the canadian/us border!!

AND WE MADE IT!!!!

There is a street called Granvile in Vancouver with the biggest mansions on it.  I believe this will be where I will live when I grow up!

We arrived into Vancouver around 9pm, soooo exhausted! So sick of driving! We were staying in Nick's uncles condo right down in the harbor. First thing we did when we arrive, found sushi and saki, second thing we did was pass out!!! The next morning we woke up and to our surprise it was not rining...yay!!! So we headed down to Granville Island to the market and ate lunch!

There was every kind of food imaginable in the market.  I am a picky eater,  I eat plan and do not experiment, Nick on the other had is such a foodie.  He was in heaven.

This was a chicken pot pie, and it was amazing!

When we left the market we headed down to English Bay to play on the beach!

Check out this hotel! The Tree of Life is on top!!

One of my favorite hotel is Vancouver, The Sylvia!

Maple Leafs... had too!

We cruised around Stanley Park for a little.  Drove over to the lookout to see Lions Gate Bridge!

What a beautiful city!!
